so we haven’t posted in literally 5 (count em, FIVE) months. i just got done skyping netti and i have realized A LOT! we have gotten over people, learned what friendships we need to value, gotten our dream houses on campus for senior year, started learning how to stay happy, and realized that no matter what we’re still family - can we be *gasp*, growing up???
WE’RE BECOMING SUCCESSFUL HUMAN BEINGS PARENTS!!
i’m snacking sophisticatedly - wine and stove-top popcorn. it’s delicious! and after one hour with them, i’m ready to conquer the most boring homework EVER. and netti’s out running organizations and wearing button up shirts like a big kid. we’re so proud of each other!
..is actually pretty strange. all i want to do is snuggle in bed, watch the macy’s thanksgiving day parade, eat pumpkin pie, and have slightly awkward//comical interactions with my semi-dysfuntional italian family. i guess there’s always xmas. HAPPY TURKEY DAY EVERYONE!
random things we’re seeing in this fancy five star hotel dfru’s gotten us:
1. a mini fridge full of alcohol, chocolate, mixers, snacks, tea, fruit.
2. a personalized note from dfru’s travel agent.
3. a bottle of gucci perfume.
4. a HUGE bathtub!
5. free internet
more to come from our best london trip!
I’M PASSING A KENYON ENGLISH CLASS WITH AN A!!!! so far that is. but who cares?? it’s happening!!! maybe this means my gpa will finally be a real number. plus, i’m healthy again and i get to go visit dad and bowman in topsham and watch a movie and some election stuff and my room is kinda clean and i refrained from washing the dishes that some humans have left in my kitchen for a month that i swear are too toxic to ever use again. and my nails are red and i might just do laundry and check my mail instead of catching up on once upon a time. actually, i’ll just end up watching it later, we all know that. happy election day and vote!!!
so both of us sporadic tumblrers are down with some stuff. we’re still not sure what it is. so we might not be on here a lot (i know, we totally were before huh). but on the bright side, it’s our first time dealing with disease on our own. yay growing up! we might have diseases or conditions, or sicknesses. wouldn’t it be weird if we had the same thing? there are a few reasons why that would be odd. anyways, DFRU WE NEED YOU AND YOUR MAGICAL WAYS!! so new york, i’ma need y’all to get power back to long island so we can call our mommy. got it? good.
